Top Navigation and Maps Apps in Turkey: Q4 2024 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications in Turkey showed varied performance across different metrics, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the trends for these apps on the unified platform.

Google Maps Go maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 80K and 135K. Active users showed a gradual decline from 34M to approximately 30.7M by the end of the quarter.

Muslim Prayer - Qibla Compass experienced a steady increase in downloads, peaking at around 66K in the final week. The app's weekly active users saw fluctuations, starting at 271K and ending the quarter with about 231K. Revenue remained consistent, hovering around $8 to $10 weekly.

Yandex Navigator saw a decline in weekly downloads, from 31K to just over 21K. Active users, however, showed resilience, with numbers ranging from 2.7M to 2.5M throughout the quarter. Revenue varied, peaking at $125 in late November.

Yandex Maps and Navigator had a strong start in downloads, reaching 52K mid-quarter but ending at 16K. Active users showed growth, starting at 377K and finishing the quarter with 409K. Revenue peaked at $107 in the last week of November.

Radar GO-X: HUD, GPS, Maps experienced varied weekly downloads, with a notable spike to 24K in mid-November. Active users also increased to 16K in the same period. Revenue saw a gradual increase, peaking at $217 towards the end of December.
